Where to Shop in Portsmouth

Summer is the perfect time to scout out new places to shop. I love mall shopping but there is nothing better than being outside soaking up the sun, scouting out fabulous new boutiques. Last Wednesday, my intern Lauren and I decided to check out the style scene in Portsmouth, NH---a beautiful city that offers everything from amazing food to unique shopping.
We started out visiting Linda Taylor Boutique----love this shop!! The boutique is beautifully laid out with gorgeous clothes and accessories for women of all ages. The owner Linda Schuler is just as warm and vibrant as the shop she has owned for seventeen years. From J. Brand jeans to Veronica Beard jackets (OMG LOVE THEM!), there is something for everyone...and sizes run from 0-14. For the working woman, check out their private label trousers that fit like a glove and stunning jackets... and for your casual side you'll find a wide selection of Vince, Rag and Bone, Frank and Eileen blouses and more.

Next door to Linda Taylor Boutique we discovered Delia's...a great little boutique with clothing for the modern woman including a fabulous selection of Nanette Lepore jackets, tops by Velvet, Frame denim and lots more goodies! Blogging expends a lot of energy so Lauren and I "fueled up" on lobster rolls at Old Ferry Landing.

Ganesh Imports located on 57 Market Street in Portsmouth has a unique bohemian vibe. From walls of necklaces and earrings to fabulous sundresses, the prices are amazingly reasonable. Take a peek the next time you're in Portsmouth or stop by their Newburyport store!
If you're looking for something fun and different to do this summer, take a ride to Portsmouth for boutique shopping....a pleasant change of pace from being a mall-rat. You'll find unique pieces that you won't see in the department stores... plus the lobster rolls are delicious!
