A Night at Davios

I just got back from the Davio's (Lynnfield) press dinner tonight, to launch their partnership with the neighboring Whole Foods Market. Having never experienced a Davio's meal, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was not disappointed.  From impeccable service to beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious food, Davio's is a top notch restaurant. 

Beginning on August 4th, the new Monday Market Menu (see below) will be available every Monday evening during the month of August and will utilize ingredients grown and available at the new Rooftop Farm at Whole Foods.

We sampled this new menu which will be available every Monday night during the month of August.   My favorite dishes were the gazpacho with lobster and of course the blueberry torte which was to die for! Jealous?

I can't even describe how delicious this pasta dish with fresh arugula was. I wish I could cook like this! On second thought, I wish I had a Davio's chef to cook for me every night!

After the meal we took a quick jaunt next to door to Whole Foods to check out their new open air  garden. Boasting 17,000 square feet, this is the largest roof-top garden in the country and the only one that sits on top of a supermarket! Many of the vegetables grown here are served fresh from farm to table at Davio's.

Davio's and Whole Foods even sent me home with a bag of fresh organically grown veggies straight from the roof-top farm AND a personally signed book written by Davio's owner Steve DiFillippo.

I highly recommend taking a trip over to Davio's to experience their summer menu....it's amazing.
