Help for Hooded Lids

Wednesday, August 17, 2022

Some links in this blog generate a small commission. However, I only post what I love!

I've had hooded eyelids for as far back as I can remember.  But now that I'm 60, they're practically nonexistent.  I don't use Botox or surgery, so I'm always on the lookout for noninvasive products that will help give my lids a little lift.  These tried and true solutions really make a difference, but of course they're no match for eyelid surgery. By the way, a friend of mine had her eyelids and under eye bags surgically corrected and the results were incredible. However, I'm not a fan of surgery and my leukemia gets in the way of a lot of cosmetic procedures...so here I am with droopy lids.

My eyes need a BIG lift!

Here are my suggestions for making eyes look lifted without cosmetic procedures!

1.  City Beauty's Lid Lifting Treatment.

This is SO good, as are many of City Beauty's products. It's gentle, doesn't irritate my eyes, and over time it helps to firm the appearance of saggy eyelids. It also helps with lines and wrinkles too!
Shop it here.   I'm also addicted to their neck cream

2.  NUFACE
I've been a fan of NUFACE for years. I typically use this device, but I recently purchased the smaller version that's targeted for lifting around the eye area. I like it because it's small and lightweight for travel. Shop it here at Nordstrom so you can easily return if for some reason you're unhappy with it. They have the best return policy!

This is the bigger NUFACE device, which I also love for all over face tightening.
NUFACE is not inexpensive, but I equate it to a facial or two.

Here's another product that I've been using for years.  It tightens instantly and gives a mini facelift! I use it on my forehead and apply with upward strokes. You can find it here

I've been using the Clarisonic Opal forever, only to learn that it's been discontinued...so sad!  I'm due for a replacement, so I've been researching similar products.  An eye massager helps with under-eye bags, lines, and also has a tightening effect. This is under $100 and has a great return policy.

I hope this is helpful. I'll keep researching and sharing my suggestions with you.
Thanks for stopping by!

xx Susan
