Fall style at Neiman's
Sunday, September 20, 2015
Last Friday I got a chance to preview the fall fashion trends at Neiman Marcus, Copley Place Boston. The afternoon started out with a panel discussion on the topic of "what to wear to work" and "how to cultivate your personal style" led by Karen Kaplan, Chairman and CEO of Hill Holliday, Her advice to women? Surprisingly she didn't have a lot of rules..."wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident"(love that!). Neiman's own personal stylist Andy Tabulina was also on-hand to talk about what's trending for fall.
This season the styles are all over the map, but the big trends are embellished boots, plaid, lots of color, backpacks (not the Jantzen type!), layers, white, flared pants, and bright colored leather.
Check out some of the fall trends, including pieces from Theory, Miu Miu, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Veronica Beard, Vince, and Parker (to name a few).
What is your favorite look?
Will you be incorporating any of these trends into your fall wardrobe? What's on your shopping list?
Before I end this blog, I have to show you my "boxed lunch". Leave it to Neiman's to do lunch "on the go" in style!
