Bright floral top and white jeansMonday, May 09, 2016
I bought this top last year and never wore it ---it always felt a little too bold for me. I don't know if I'm getting more daring as I get older, but this year I can't seem to get enough of the brights! As much as I love wearing black, bold vibrant colors are edging their way into my wardrobe this season.
I paired this gorgeous silk top (similar HERE HERE and HERE) with DL Instasculpt white jeans. White jeans can be tough for us midlife gals...sometimes the fabric is just too thin and see-through. But these jeans are amazing! The fabric has a nice weight to it and the mid rise hits at the perfect spot, avoiding the muffin-top. They can be found at Lyn Evans (they sell online and offer free shipping!).
Nude sandals and a neutral cork clutch blend in keeping the focus on the top.
A cork clutch is a fabulous summer staple since it goes with just about everything.
This CZ ring was handmade by jewelry designer extraordinaire Aileen Peters. It has such a beautiful sparkle and I just love the wide silver band.
These BP sandals resemble a Stuart Weitzman style called "the nudist", which is much more expensive and has a higher heel. The BP sandal is just $59.95 and comes in a ton of colors and prints. The heel is "walkable"--at least for a little while!
Here's to warm weather and bright colors!
