Cozy flannel shirt

There's nothing like a lazy morning that starts off with good coffee.

a little breakfast

time to think and reflect

and a "can't put down" book.

A casual laid-back morning calls for a comfy outfit.
Wearing a soft plaid flannel shirt (similar HERE and HERE) with rolled up DL Riley jeans from Lyn Evans.

Suede ankle boots and a slouchy bag keep things relaxed.

Caffeinated, rested and ready for the day!
Bring it on!

  1. Hi Susan... Just came across your blog and love it. I'm even happier to see that you are in the Boston area. My husband and I moved from Texas to the South Shore a couple of years ago. I'm now going to go read your past posts. You have great taste in clothes! Have a good week.

    1. Judy --you made my night. No, I take that back---my whole year. You are just too sweet. So my hair--that's a blog in itself. It's actually super curly and frizzy. I get Brazilian Blowouts regularly or I look scary (ask my kids--they'll agree). Thank you so much XO

  6. I am so glad I found your blog! We just moved to Florida from Massachusetts six months ago. Reading your blog is like going home again! I certainly know about dressing conservatively around Boston! Here in Florida, anything goes. Takes some getting used to! I also dress conservatively and will enjoy following your blog.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment. As much as I love New England, I'm not loving winter so much these days! Hope you're having fun in the sunshine state!
