5 spring shoes that your feet can't be without

Oh my aching feet. They're not what they used to be. Gone are the days of 4 inch heels. Midlife equals mid-heel!

However finding style and comfort can be a bit challenging. It seems that some of the "comfort shoes" lack pizzaz.  Here are some of my favorites for both comfort and style (sounds like an oxymoron!). What lines do you find the most comfortable?  Let's share ideas!

Last year I purchased these J. Crew suede sandals in three different colors...that's how comfy they are! They have just enough of a wedge to give lift, but without pain.  I wear them with everything from rolled up jeans to a dress.
(If you have a wide foot, they might not be for you--best for narrow to medium widths.)

These slip-ons from Sperry are incredibly comfy--and who doesn't love an animal print?
How fun are these with shorts or jeans? They're also great for airport travel--easy on/off through security!

Don't be fooled by this stylish shoe. The heel may look high (3 1/2'') but there is a 3/4'' platform that balances things out to under 3''. These may not be walking shoes, but for a special occasion (or even with jeans!) they'll look amazing and keep your feet happy (for a while anyway!).

Cole Haan makes very comfortable shoes. This glove-soft walking moccasin is so fun in a bright color and you'll feel like you're wearing slippers.

One of my clients just bought these mules by Toms and said they are incredibly comfortable and loaded with soft padding. I happen to love Toms-- not only do they make super comfy shoes, but the company has a conscience! A pair of shoes is donated to a child in need with each purchase.
