Partying Nordstrom style!

There are so many reasons why I love Nordstrom. But this time of the year, it's their cardholder's holiday event that really excites me....they really know how to throw a party! Recently, my dear friend Linda Holt (interior designer extraordinaire) and I attended this private shopping extravaganza together, but we had more than one reason to celebrate since the night marked the end of Linda's breast cancer treatments. It had been a long haul for Linda and we were ready for some fun.
The crowds were greeted with champagne and appetizers.
Drinking and shopping is a dangerous combination for me!

The store was decorated so beautifully for the holidays. I have to give kudus to Nordstrom for waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up the Christmas decor!

And then there was the candy bar....this was ALMOST as good as the champagne!
After a few glasses of champagne, I managed to do some serious damage. Here's what I bought:
several comfy Gibson fleece tops a Joie silk blouse, Madewell high rise jeans, Deborah Lipman nailpolish (which I've been dying to try!), and a pair of gold flats. Oops, I forgot to
buy holiday presents!
