Sometimes a few great pieces are all you need. to make a statement
Today's outfit is a royal blue Joan Vass flowy top similar here and here with black Joe's ankle jeans. I love this color combination--the vivid shade of blue looks so fresh when paired with black.
What sold me on this top was the cowl back. I love feminine details.
I bought this statement necklace on sale at J. Crew last season similar here--I wear it all the time with everything from a tee and jeans to a cocktail dress. Gold clutch from J. Crew Factory Store and peep toe black suede slingback similar here. Notice I haven't loaded on the jewelry --the bold color of the top and statement necklace hold their own. Plus I'm a big believer that less is more.
Life doesn't get much better than this!
