Sneakers and a blazer

Tuesday, June 16, 2015

I get a lot of questions about how to wear sneakers with jeans. It's such a fun casual look and incredibly comfy--perfect for city walks or running around town.

Here's how to put it all together:
Start with rolled slim-cut jeans such as  skinny, boyfriend or straight and pair with a scoop or v-neck tee-shirt (boot-cut jeans do not work well for this look). Sneakers should not be too bulky---here' I'm wearing white perforated leather sneakers by
French Connection (on sale now at Bloomingdale's!)--Keds are great too.
Save your gym shoes for working out--they're just too clunky.

A fitted blazer pulls the look together and makes it a bit more polished.

Keep your jewelry and bag simple and casual. I'm wearing a
large stainless steel watch, a long silver chain and a black leather bucket bag
Aviator sunglasses add the finishing touch.

  1. Love it! I had this look in mind when I got the jeans I told you about... searched for sneakers to pair with them with no luck.... not really a blazer girl. One issue I have with sneakers such as Keds and that shape is they make my 9.5/10 feet look longer and narrower than they already are.... I will keep searching.:)
