This fall the trends are a bit all over the place. From patchwork (70's style) to velvet and shine, there's a little bit of this and that. Do you have any of these "trends" in your closet? I think I may have a few myself!

Top row:  Glitz it up with velvet and shine this season. You'll see simple velvet dresses out there, as well as very ornate pieces such as velvet tassel capes.. Shiny skirts are in stye--perfect for holiday outfits.
Middle row:  Remember those 70's patchwork styles? Well they're back---kind of that is. Patchwork denim will be making an appearance (probably not my cup of tea--been there/done that!) and patchwork prints (like this dress). Fur trim is also returning (not sure it ever left!). Although I'm more of a faux fur gal, I love this look.
Third row:  The duster coat is in for fall. I love that it comes in various lengths so choose one that's right for your height and stature. The mid-length version (photo on left) works well for petite ladies. I love this look with jeans and boots or booties...fun and bit boho!
