The perfect layering piece from Ministry of Supply
Wednesday, November 01, 2017
The weather here in Boston has been ridiculously warm. Now I'm not complaining because I despise the winter, but it has been a bit unseasonable for the fall.
So when the temps are in the 60's, I like to dress in layers. This "easier than silk sleeveless top" from Ministry of Supply is really fabulous and so is the company--which just happens to be the brainchild of MIT grads (go Boston!). The fabric is amazing and made for performance. It's moisture wicking, and temperature regulating (great for me since I get hot easily!) and it looks like silk, but is much easier to maintain.
The V-neckline is super versatile and very flattering.
This top can be dressed up or down. I'm wearing it casually here with a pair of black high rise jeans and a pair of black slip-on sneakers (similar HERE).
Thrown on a beautiful kimono jacket and you get a different look.
I discovered Rebel Designs jewelry a few years ago at a gallery in Maine. I was so surprised to find that Soft Surroundings carries the line! Love these two pieces that have a touch of edge and a punch of bling. Above is the radiance necklace and below, the super cool leather panache bracelet (which just happens to be on sale!). I also love these leather bracelets HERE and HERE (LOVE!).
Similar suede cross-body bag HERE --super sale!
I also have this top in a beautiful wine color.
It's so perfect for work since it layers easily and is very comfy!
A large envelope clutch makes a great work bag.
Similar HERE.
I love the slight high/low hem and the notched detail.
Gotta run---this darn phone rings off the hook. Can you believe I manage 3 emails, 2 texts and 2 phone numbers on it?
Thanks to Ministry of Supply and Soft Surroundings for partnering on this blog. Both companies are amazing so please check them out!
