Lily Silk Dresses

I love the look and feel of silk--but it can be pricey!
However, I just discovered Lily Silk--an affordable and GORGEOUS line of silk clothing and bedding.
I'm a huge animal print lover so this "relaxed leopard silk" dress" caught my eye! This dress went quickly (sold out before I could even launch this blog!) but check out the other stunning dresses sold on the Lily Silk site. You'll get 16% off with code THEMIDLIFEFASHION too!
This dress, like many others from Lily Silk, has just the right amount of looseness without being a "tent" and the length is spot-on. I'm 5'6'' and it hits just above the knee (even with heels).
I also love the subtle high/low hemline!
Ever since I received these Taryn Rose black suede ankle boots, I've barely taken them off. They are so incredibly comfortable and so perfect with every outfit! Here are some other similar style boots I love at much lower price points HERE and HERE.
I also chose this soft neckline tuck silk dress in black. You can never have enough basic black dresses and this one is SO comfy!

With a similar shift style and length to the leopard dress, the differences are the v-neckline and hemline (straight vs. high/low).  I love this little black dress because it can be worn in so many ways--with a jacket, cardigan, or scarf.  You can easily dress it up or down.
I paired the dress with Adrian Allen Sara pumps (LOVE the line!!!) and an animal print clutch--similar here for $36 and here (love the black trim).  Here are a few other ways to pull in animal print with a simple black dress and both under $40!!  HERE (super cute right?) and HERE.
My motto is that you can never have enough comfy dresses!
Don't forget 16% off at Lily Silk with code THEMIDLIFEFASHION

Happy dress shopping!
