Fringe cape for a fall day

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Fall is New England is just gorgeous, and one of the prettiest places for leaf peeping is Vermont.
Richard and I recently spent a few days in Quechee, VT. The foliage was spectacular.
We spent the day in Woodstock, a charming little town with beautiful covered bridges.
I love to cozy up with a cape on a crisp fall day.
I recently bought this charcoal gray fringe wool cape at a local consignment shop for a mere $20.00. It's so warm!
Here are similar styles HERE and HERE
Because I tend to have sudden crazy hot-flashes (thank you menopause), I layered with a light-weight silky top...similar HERE and HERE
I wear this Bittersweet Designs necklace all the time...the line is one of my favorites.
This bag has to be over 15 years old, but it's still in great shape! I love the snakeskin detailing and it's super soft and slouchy. Similar bag HERE (and only $40!) and HERE (under $40!).
Ecco really knows how to mix comfort with style. I bought these ankle boots last year and liked them so much I got them in a cognac color too! Similar Ecco's HERE and HERE.

Happy fall!
XO Susan
