Chic Consignment Styled

Chic Consignment isn't your average consignment shop. From Chanel to Free People, there is something for everyone no matter what your budget or taste.
Chic is celebrating their one year anniversary under the new ownership of May Doherty, whose fashion sense is nothing short of AMAZING!
Chic has a new sign, new logo and a fresh new look that makes shopping easy and fun!
By now you probably know that my style is fairly understated. I don't wear a ton of jewelry and keep to simple lines and a fairly classic look. However I was curious to see how May would style me, so I gave her full control and let her work her magic.  I had her put together three very different looks using my one little black dress and lots of Chic Consignment finds.

Look #1--little black dress, meet "Day CHIC".
It took all my strength not to pull out my wallet and say"I'll take it all". That's how much I adore this outfit. It's me, but a little more jazzed up version.
This Alice + Olivia suede coat (size xs) has my name all over it.
I just may have to buy it (Richard, an early birthday gift PLEASE??).  Chic price $299 a bargain.
May draped me with this fabulous DVF scarf (LOVE it!), just $39 (I must have this too). Ring a mere $25.
The "piece de resistance" is this amazing Chanel Brooklyn Patchwork Tote. Are you drooling yet? $2239.00
These Barbar Bui boots are stunning--ahhh that rich color and a comfy platform to boot (no pun intended).
Size 7.5  $199.00  Hurry before I scoff these up too!
Do you think May will notice if I casually bolt?
Oh and those are Chanel sunglasses I'm wearing. $149.00
Ready for the next look?
Look #2--The Midlife Fashionista goes "edgy CHIC".
In case you can't tell, I'm having way too much fun with this outfit. I feel cool...I feel hip...I feel fierce!
I'm wearing a Reko velvet animal print bomber jacket with the coolest polka dot lining. Sorry, but this one just sold--someone beat me to it.
When May pulled out this fabulous multi-strand snake chain necklace ($22) I thought "great", but when she added an RLM circles necklace ($49) to it I wasn't sure I would like it. But guess what, I LOVE it! I never would have put these 2 pieces together---that May!
This DVF leather bag is nothing short of fantastic ($149).
An edgy look calls for aviators (Michael Kors $49),  graphite studded bracelets ($20 each)...
and of course edgy boots! Gentle Souls studded heel booties
size 9, $119. Lucky for you, they're not my size!
Last but not least, I bring you..
Outfit #3- The Midlife Fashionista goes "Classy Chic"
Let's face it, this outfit just screams "sophisticated".
I love everything about it....everything!
From this stunning Chanel jacket size 4, $749...
to these "to die for" Manolo Blahnik animal print sandals with rhinestone embellishment, size 8 $199.
I feel like Cinderella wearing these---she wore animal print, right?
These Lizabeth necklaces are SO gorgeous...shorter necklace $649, longer piece is $759 and can be wrapped as a bracelet too.
Avant Guarde pewter stretch cuff $59 and Lauren Merkin snakeskin clutch $69.
And these pretty little gold pearl and rhinestone earrings are just $15.

So you can tell how much fun I had playing dress-ups at CHIC Consignment. If you are interested in any of these pieces (those I don't buy that is!) you can visit Chic's website to get in contact. Before I leave you, I want to introduce the mastermind behind all of these fabulous outfits. Meet the gorgeous and super stylish May Doherty who has agreed to come to my house every day to dress me...right May?
