Blue is the new black

One of my favorite colors is royal blue--a warm, inky, purply/blue color that looks amazing on almost every skin tone. Although I love a little black dress, a little blue dress is a great alternative.
This Vince shift dress hides a multitude of sins. The loose cut style is comfortable and it flows without looking "poofy" (similar here and here). Plus the fabric is structured and heavy, so no Spanx required--yay!
Doing a little "matchy-matchy' thing here with royal blue suede Calvin Klein peep-toe sling-backs. The heel is just high enough to give a some lift, but low enough to be walkable.
