Kimono Jacket

Wednesday, September 07, 2016

My latest obsession is the kimono jacket.
This drapey, silky, bold and super comfy piece turns jeans and a tank top into a "wow" outfit.
I bought this jacket at Nordstrom last year and "almost" returned it....so glad I didn't! Here are more styles I like--HERE , HERE,  HERE (plaid) and  HERE (OMG LOVE!).
Because the jacket is so bold, I played down my bag (similar nude/pink color) HERE and HERE and shoes.

I shot this blog along the old mill area of Lawrence, MA.
There is so much history here.
And so much wind! It wasn't a good hair day!
Wearing Joe's ankle jeans with a little roll-up..they're on sale by the way!
Signing off --XO "Windblown in a kimono jacket"AKA Susan

Thanks to photographer Chantal Kellerd and to Essex Art Center for letting me use their space.  Also, big thanks to Robert Jason Salon (sorry about the windblown look).
