Arm 911

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

After a long cold winter, my arms are coming out of hibernation.  I can truly say that this is "the year of the arms" for me. And it's not pretty. I haven't been able to exercise since the fall due to a crazy work schedule and a fractured wrist--so now I'm paying for it now. I'm cringing at the thought of going sleeveless.

Luckily, I have a few tricks up my "sleeve" to fake toned arms.

1.  The most amazing moisturizer ever.
Amlactin

This is serious stuff. As soon as I put it on, my arms feel a bit more toned and look a whole lot better. I douse myself in this fabulous moisturizer every day.

2.  Use self-tanner. Let's face it, skin looks better with a little color. However, I go for a lighter bronze versus a deep dark tan.
The two self-tanners that I like the best are
L'Oreal Sublime Bronze

Jergen's Natural Glow--I've been using this one for years and it always continues to be my favorite.

3.  Don't bare all.
I am so happy that the cold shoulder is still on-trend. With just an "arm peek" it's the perfect compromise! This adorable Bobeau top is on sale for just $25.20!
4.  Divert the attention
A fabulous statement necklace will distract by drawing attention up toward your face. This stunner is under $50!

5.  Throw on a poncho
I LOVE ponchos---they're so stylish and chic and give a little extra coverage. There are some fabulous lightweight ponchos for spring. Here are a few that I like a lot.
Find it HERE for just $59

SO pretty for summer! Find it HERE.

I guess the last solution would be to workout :(

Hope you're having a great week so far!

  1. Giggled at your last option. Ugh. Working out. I do it but never with much enthusiasm. We just opened our pool so I hope that will make working out more fun and get my arms toned in a hurry. Going to look for your lotion at Amazon. I use Rodan and Fields self-tanner and like it a lot. Great tips.

  4. I'm not agree with the tan thing. I think that every skin shade is beautiful. And if you have a pale skin - it's wonderful. I never use tanning cream. Instead of this, I use a lot of sunscreen. Because I know how harmful can be the sun for our skin. I'm so glad I'm working at the best essay writing services and I don't need to be at the outside for long
