Baby blue sweater and baroque pearls

Thursday, March 17, 2016

For a long time I couldn't wear baby blue, however as I've "matured"it's become a great color for me! I don't know if it's because my hair is now lighter, or my skin-tone has changed...but I'm not  complaining! I love this shade and it's gorgeous for spring.

I found this sweater on clearance at Lord and Taylor--similar sweaters HERE (cropped) or HERE (with beautiful feminine detailing).

I paired this sweater with cuffed jeans (on sale!), navy suede kitten heel pumps (comfy!) and this amazing baroque pearl necklace from Bittersweet Designs.

To break up all the blue, I chose a nude leather bag
(great staple for spring!).

It's raining here in Boston but at least it's not snow...
spring is on its way!

  3. Cute outfit and baby blue looks fab on you! I love the idea of chambray but it washes me out; however I can wear baby blue. Do you wear chambray or denim? Different values in the color, I guess. P.S. Your photographer is excellent.

    1. Thanks so much for your sweet comment Donna! Blues look better and better on me as I get older. A very light chambray top is just "ok" but a deeper blue denim shirt looks better. I actually did a blog (about a year ago) featuring a denim shirt. I love a denim jacket too! I'll pass the compliment on to Emily---she is amazing. She stands in for my best friend Cathy when she can't make a shoot. They're both so talented and I'm a lucky girl to have them on my team!!! Have a fabulous weekend! XO
